The days r just packed!!
Another night duty! why am i writing this? considering nothing pathbreaking has happened so far in this night. Am waiting to get a message about a patient who i just accepted. They (nurse from A & E) have told me tha tthey would inform me when the patient is ready to be seen by surgical SHO (thats me!!).
After 2 hours of waiting fo rthe bleep, i have just been told by the sister on the surgical ward that th epatient has reached the ward. so much for informing the surgical SHO!!
Well, here i go again to clerk in a drunk patient fo rneuro observation overnight. Meaning we water and feed until his alcohol wears off!! u woul dthink after 1 year of doing that i woul dget a respite. but no here we go again. things are about to get wild tonight!!

In good old Saf'd hospital we would just let the jat security guard loose on the drunks..
Miraculous improvement in the GCS is usually the norm in aproximately 78% of the patients.
Try it
